Here at Prime Medical Disposal, we do not offer residential/one-time mobile services. In order to maintain compliance, our clients have retaining services in accordance with the Medical Waste Management Act of 2017. No. All medical and pharmaceutical waste is always to remain on site at client’s facility’s in its assigned bin/bag. By no means should any individual attempt to transport med waste material of any kind before or after set schedule stated in clients’ contract. Although Prime Medical Disposal oversees collecting and transporting the waste, we as a company do not dispose of it here at our facility.
We provide services to all businesses who are generators of med waste.
A person generating biohazardous waste shall comply with the following requirements: (a) If the person generates 20 or more pounds of biohazardous waste per month, the person shall not contain or store that waste above 0° Centigrade (32° Fahrenheit) at an onsite location for more than seven days without obtaining prior written approval of the enforcement agency. (b) If a person generates less than 20 pounds of biohazardous waste per month, the person shall not contain or store that waste above 0° Centigrade (32° Fahrenheit) at an onsite location for more than 30 days. (c) A person may store biohazardous waste at or below 0° Centigrade (32° Fahrenheit) at an onsite location for not more than 90 days without obtaining prior written approval of the enforcement agency. A person generating pharmaceutical waste shall comply with the following requirements: A person may store that pharmaceutical waste at an onsite location for not longer than 90 days when the container is ready for disposal unless prior written approval from the enforcement agency is obtained. Manifests are emailed in real time the day of service. Customers also have online manifest access through Compliance Publishing. Customers have user login credentials to view any previous manifests.
